STORY
Being yourself is worth cherishing.
Arinomama grew out of the sense of belonging I had been searching for myself.
At four, my story began.
When I was four, I was in a traffic accident. I was told I might not survive the week. That was the beginning of my story of how to live.
Even in a group, I didn’t feel I belonged.
From the later years of elementary school, relationships were often difficult. I was quiet and stayed on the edge of groups. Unsure whether I was being teased or bullied, I kept trying to fit in.
Connecting with people remained difficult at work.
At work, I struggled to connect and never knew what to say. As I moved between workplaces and places in my private life, I met many different people.
I realized it was okay to be different.
Through those encounters, I realized that everyone can have different thoughts and values. Until then, I had assumed I always had to adapt to others.
Living as I am.
After years of worrying about other people’s reactions, I decided to live as myself and began moving forward, little by little, on my own terms.

I opened a café.
I want to help build a world where people support one another. My first step was to create this warm space, Arinomama Café.
When you need to catch your breath.
When you don’t quite feel you belong.
When you simply want a quiet coffee.
I hope this can be one of the places where you feel at ease.
